Have you ever had one of those days where you don’t want to do anything at all? Even, something as simple as getting out of bed seems like a chore and your body doesn’t want to… In fact, it just down right refuses. That was me yesterday! I mean I obviously had to get out of bed; I do have two kids after all. I find that even when I am alone and able to RELAX my ‘Mommy brain’ just won’t let me, it always thinks of something productive for me to do. So I have come up with a few suggestions for myself the next time that I may be so lucky, as to have the chance to do absolutely nothing.
Bubbles, bath and a good book... What more could you ask for?
2.) PJ's and PVR
If your anything like me, you like to enjoy your favorite shows in peace and quiet. Which in my household means:
A.) When the kids are sleeping
B.)When they are not home
So, I take advantage of my PVR (too be honest, I'm not really sure how I ever lived without it), tape all of my shows throughout the entire week and watch them with no interruptions.
If I've had a down and out kind of day and I just want to forget about everything for a little while or give myself an energy boost; I put my ear buds in and crank my favorite tunes.
4.) Spa Day
There is just something about a Mani and a Pedi that makes me feel good about myself. Add facials and massages and everything just seems right with the world. Grab your best friend or someone who you can completely unwind with and either go out and get pampered or stay at home and pamper eachother.
5.) Soak Up The Sun
Take the kids to the park or the beach and while they're busy making new friends and playing just sit back and take in those sun rays.
6.) DO NOTHING
Just like it says DO NOTHING but take a nap. Live in your dreams (hopefully not nightmares) for an hour or two and wake up feeling refreshed and ready to get started on all of the other relaxing ideas mentioned above.

Well, I think that I deserve a break now so it's time for me to go and do number 5 and than maybe number 6. What do you like to do to relax?
