Rock N Learn Giveaway

I have two little guys in my house; one who is learning to read and write the other one is learning how to talk.  When I was contacted by Rock N Learn to review their Sight Words Level 1 DVD, I couldn't believe the great timing.

From the moment that I pressed play Brad, Festes, Chip, Susan and Wordbot had my boys hooked, especially Lucas.  Ever since he started kindergarten, he constantly wants to be learning something, usually he's practicing writing his letters but he really wants to jump ahead and learn how to read and spell.  Colton well...  he just likes to copy everything he hears and sees.

There is never a moment of piece in my house.  Colton is usually saying anything that he can, most of the time "Mama" just to get my attention and than ignoring me once he has it.  Lucas is usually asking "Mom, what does this say?" or "Mom, how do you spell _____?"  And if neither of those are happening than they are probably singing or looking at books.

Rock N Learn showed me that all of those things combined can be a strong source for learning, making it fun and easier to remember.  After watching the DVD just once, Lucas was reading.  Obviously not all of the words but there were a few that he was starting to recognize - 'off, I, the'...  he couldn't believe it himself.  He looked at me with his eyes all bright and proudly said "Mommy, I did it!"

I was so pleased with this learning tool that myself and my family were introduced to that I quickly found the app for my iPhone which I was able to download for FREE, to help him succeed even faster towards his goal.  The app has flash cards, the opposites song and video and also a treasure hunt practice - it's great for them to practice with you or even on their own.

Rock N Learn is a family ran business that started with an idea from two brothers Richard and Brad Caudle who had a goal to make learning easy and fun for children.  They thought of pairing educational material and music, the kind that kids would enjoy in a beat that motivates them.  These learning materials come in a variety of subjects that can be purchased on DVD, CD, iBook and even an app for your smartphone.

If your interested in purchasing your own fun learning tool that Rock N Learn has available, they have provided me with a code to give to you.  Just enter JQ7711 and you'll receive 25% of you entire order (contiguous US residents only).  That's not all they have also graciously provided me with a giveaway for you, don't worry Canada you can enter to.

One reader will receive a choice of any DVD or CD from Rock N LearnGiveaway open to Canada and US ends 03/31.

I was not paid in cash for this posting. However, I was sent the Sight Words Level 1 DVD for review and as always all opinions are my own.
